DRESS CODE:

This is the suggested dress code so that all students will be properly prepared for any examinations and recitals.

Hair is to be pulled back neatly off of the face for all classes. A bun is required for all ballet classes. Sweatshirts, t-shirts and legwarmers are not permitted in class, but are for use in between classes.

Scooters:
Bodysuit in any style or colour, pink tights (Mondor 310 Full Ballerina E6) or, full sole pink ballet slippers (Bloch 205 or Capezio 200) with elastic across the instep.

Ballet:
PRE-BALLET to PRIMARY: pale blue, short sleeve bodysuit (Mondor 1635), pink tights (Mondor 310 Full Foot E6), pink full sole leather ballet slippers (Bloch 205 or Capezio 200) with pink elastic across the instep. Optional skirt (Mondor 6207) in matching blue.

GRADE 1 and 2: navy blue, tank bodysuit (Mondor 1633) with matching waist elastic, pink tights (Mondor 310 Full Foot E6), pink full sole leather ballet slippers (Bloch 205 or Capezio 200) with pink elastic across the instep, black canvas character shoes with low heel (Bloch 315), black character skirt (Mondor 9049)(more details in office).

GRADE 3, 4 and 5: same as Grade 1 and 2 except black canvas character shoes with higher heel (Bloch 314) with pink elastic across instep.

GRADE 6, 7, and 8: same as previous grades plus a bodysuit in any colour or style with calf length skirt (Matching colour – check with teacher), pink split sole ballet slippers (Bloch 203 – leather) or (Capezio 2030) – stretch canvas) with pink elastic across instep.

MAJOR BALLET: regulation black or navy bodysuit (check with teacher), pink tights (Mondor 314 Versatile or Mondor 315 Low Rise, Versatile E6) and pink ballet slippers (Capezio 2030 – stretch canvas) with pink elastic across the instep. Pointe shoes to be arranged with teacher according to individual requirements.

TEEN and ADULT: black bodysuit – any style, pink tights, and pink ballet slippers as for grade 6-8.

BOYS: PRE BALLET-GRADE 1: white, short sleeve bodysuit or t-shirt with navy blue cotton shorts, white ankle socks, white leather ballet slippers (Capezio or Bloch) with white elastic across the instep.

BOYS – GRADE 2-5: white, short sleeve bodysuit or t-shirt, black leggings, white ankle socks, white leather (Capezio or Bloch) ballet slippers with white elastic over across the instep

BOYS- MAJOR BALLET: white bodysuit or t-shirt, black tights (Capezio 10), white ankle socks, with split sole stretch canvas (Capezio or Bloch) ballet slippers with elastic across instep, dance belt or athletic support from age 12.

Jazz:
AGE 6-9: black tank bodysuit (Mondor 1645), beige tights (Mondor 310- Suntan), beige split sole gore boot (Bloch 499-Tan)

AGES 12+: black tank bodysuit (Mondor 1633), beige tights (Mondor 310- Suntan), beige split sole gore boot (Bloch 499-Tan)

INTERMEDIATE-ADVANCED: any style and colour of bodysuit optional (check with teacher), black or beige tights (Mondor 310 Full Foot), (Mondor 314 Versatile), or (Mondor 315 Versatile Low Rise), black or beige Jazz gore boots (Bloch 499) or Jazz foot thong (Bloch Foot Thong).

TEEN and ADULT: bodysuit style and colour optional, black jazz pants or black tights, black jazz shoes or jazz gore boot.

Tap
JUNIOR LEVELS : tan low heel tap shoe (Capezio 625), Capezio Teletone taps, beige tights (Mondor 310-Suntan), black bodysuit (Mondor 1645).

PRE-INTERMEDIATE: tan low heel tap shoe (Bloch 302), black tank bodysuit (Mondor 1633), beige tights (Mondor 310- Suntan).

INTERMEDIATE-ADVANCED: tap shoes and taps are same as pre-intermediate above, style and colour of bodysuit optional (check with teacher)

BOYS: white t-shirt, black jazz pants, black tap shoes (Bloch S0371- beginner) and (Bloch S0381 – advanced)

Hip Hop
Casual, comfortable clothing. Hip Hop Dance Sneaker (Capezio) or any other all white running shoe. NOTE: no street/outdoor shoes will be allowed on the studio dance floors. No jeans or pajamas will be acceptable attire in Hip Hop or breakdancing classes.
